(Chapter one: "Normal")

Kara and Clark explored several stores in Gothem. Both of them were having a hard time adjusting to the peace in the city for they were both known to always have to fight a supreme force. Clark Kent was happy to have reunited with his cousin. He always thought he was the last kryptonian alive but her arrival was not a good one. He was here first doing what he does best and one day he heard a cry for help from the other side of earth and when he arrived he'd seen another kryptonian. He didn't realize at first Kara was catching a criminal he only remembered how evil General Zod was and that caused him to attack her. It was embarrassing on his behalf that she had beaten him as Aquaman told him "Got your ass handed to you by a girl." It was not expected that she would but he underestimated her size and therefore himself. He knew who she was after the fact and had felt bad about what he did.

"You're zoning out again." Clark was pulled from his thoughts by a smiling Kara.

"It happens time to time can't help it." He smiled back.

"Want to talk about it?" Kara was concerned.

"Remember when we first seen each other again? How I took you head on? Yeah that was my process of thought." Clark held a DVD gently and skimmed through the back of the case.

"Ohh thinking about alternatives of how you could've 'won' give it up." She giggled.

As Clark finished purchasing a couple movies for his lover his device beeped in his pocket just as he exited the store with Kara. He pulled out his cell and read:

Justice League meeting 2:30pm be there both of you.

It was Bruce Wayne notifying him and Kara of the weekly meeting. They weren't the only ones who felt a sinister power a few days ago. Wonder Woman and Cyborg felt it too. Cyborg was their man of the league. Without his ability to track down enemies the job would be far worse.

"What is it?" Kara stared at her frowning cousin.

"It's The League. We got a problem."
