Another year is rolling by
And your birthday is so near
Take the time to celebrate
But not with eyes of blear.

No matter if the birthday gifts
Have long passed the time for toys,
Take the time to celebrate,
A birthday’s a time for joys

Think of the day that you were born
And the smile on each one’s face.
You were so cute, so wee, so awed
As you just began the human race.

The memories have surely piled up
As you grew from tot to teen
And even though the years are growing
They’ll be filled betwixt and between.
