I’ve heard that things aren’t going well.
I wonder if there is anything I can tell

Or anything that I might be able do 
To make times a little bit easier on you.

For when a friend is suffering in pain
My tears inside overwhelmingly rain.

Many times you have been there for me
And helped me turn bad times to glee.

Having a friend with shoulders great and wide
Can help ease the suffering one carries inside.
