Climbing up a tree She skins her knee. Who comes to the rescue? Her mother, you see. Dirty clothes on the floor. A friend knocks at the door Who cleans up while she is gone? It’s her mother for sure. Books on the table Her lessons she’s not able So who will her tutor be? It’s her mother who’s capable. College she is through And she is married too. Who is still there for her Her mother tried and true. © Copyright 2002.04.04 By Jean E. Gorney
