Unless you want me to tickle you.
You better put a smile on your face.
I know you just had some surgery
But you were spared by God’s grace.

I hope the pain will soon be gone
And you will be up and really going,
So don’t let impatience get to you
This little time of mending, slowing.

Prodding, poking and fussing too.
You know that I am just kidding
Nurses and doctors do their best.
We thank the Lord while grinning
