Taking a walk with you by my side
To the mall, the traffic we abide
Chatting over a cup of coffee or tea
Just being good friends are we

Dancing a jig around the square
Brushing or combing my long hair
Telling each other about things we see
Just being good friends are we

An afternoon at the movie show
Is maybe a place we would like to go
It doesn’t bother us that no sun we see
Just being good friends are we

Taking a bike ride out in the breeze
Together we travel with such ease
No matter where we decide to be
Just being good friends are we
