This looks like a good start to a story. Era pieces can be inspiring. If your plan was to advertise to me about your skill as a writer then you lost me in the first sentance, it's a run on sentance. i read on anyways knowing that it was unlikely to buy, you almost got my interest again when you ask if she can survive london. Okay so is the girls life in danger? what kind of danger? is she in grouble with the bobbies? Does she owe money? or is it more subtle like the lack of food and resources or some sort of plague ravaging the streets. I really wish you had brought me back here because then i could say 'oh, i wonder if she has anything else written on here.' but you didn't. hopefully this comment will help you in the future.
