My Form Of Contraception

Contraceptives. They're another step towards our knowing we don't need men in a codependent way. The good news is that we get to fully choose to be with them without feeling like we have to be, to lean on them. My own form I'm choosing to use: IUV, the copper ten-year one. I haven't had an infection and it's pretty much stayed in place. It was uncomfortable at first and there was some bleeding, but overall it's been good for me. I think each woman should choose her own if she needs it. Some women want children, so this doesn't pertain to them personally. I also intend to use condoms since the IUV is only for not conceiving, not in fact for preventing STDs. I would normally help pay for them but I don't have a job and therefore don't have the money to. I admit, this is due in part to the fact that I've had a miscarriage, also due to the fact that I'm not even in a relationship and I think the baby would have to have a dad, even if he's not a legal dad. Even female children need a male figure to work off of in terms of how they first interact with and imprint on their ideas about men. I think also that male children need moms for that too, not just breast-feeding and being more in touch with how they're feeling and predicting what they'll do than they'd ever like to admit that moms can.
