Passion Forbidden

Secrets held with grace, etched upon a hidden page. 
Behind closed doors, yearning for a little more. 
Taught these secrets must be hidden. 
For society deems this forbidden.

Here where we preach of love ungiven.
Save for the love deemed forbidden. 
Forced to ignore a heart that is driven. 
Lost, this love that remains hidden.

These hearts that beat of love unbidden, 
Forsaken, left unforgiven.
Dreams packed away, behind door hidden.
Of this love, that be forbidden.
