Time Machine Love

Falling hard, soft landing.
Damaged wings outstretched,
You catch me fast and hold me tight.
Our love fits together, misshapen just right.

Close my eyes and breathe you in,
I lose all sense of time and space.
An exhilarating ride, I open my mind,
You've brought me to an unworldly place.

There's no place I would rather be
Than in this realm of you and me.
Poppin' dogs, Talkin' hogs.
Riff Raff and kitty kats.
A ludicrous language spoken
Between two stubborn hearts.
Spontaneous absurdity right from the start.

In these moments
Souls intertwined,
Hearts desires defined,
Dark forces collided,
The universe decided,
This is love; real, raw, unbridled.

My time machine love,
Take me away.
Side by side
Together we stray.
Through the blackest of nights,
And stormiest days,
Your love is my time machine,
Take me away.
