Empty saucer for a kitten
Leaves him wondering why and where

A puppy without a master
Is so lonely without him there

A baby crying for his milk
Without a mother's needed breasT

Or a bird needing to lay eggs
And cannot find a place to nest

Are like my life since we parted
Without you, I'm brokenhearted
