I got a small book, the picture album kind,
Put in pictures of family and friends of mine,

On pages next to each family I also list
Addresses, special dates and can things like this

A  map inside which waits for a visit I take
When I collect some new pictures that are great.

Smiling faces I can see always at hand
Of all of my friends and my family clan

When I retired to Florida, I was missing my family and friends so much I made this book which helped. This poem was featured with a write-up in "The Grandparents" column in a local newspaper.
