#398 MANNERS Read Count : 78

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
Some people walk with a compelling air.
They seem to notice not a single thing.
Some strut and strut right by with little care,
A bump from spread out arm like a bird’s wing.

Doors have been shut right in my shocking face;
And they seem so uncaring bumps to me.
For me to do this would be a disgrace.
I have been taught some manners you can see.

By being so uncaring and so rude
Their meaner is not classy and so they
Seem for some others rather a bit crude
And don’t receive a smile to light their day..

We get back what we give we are so told,
Hold a door, give a smile, carry a bag
Whatever it takes that comes along
So we should be more caring than so cold.
