In kindergarten with my class I'm having the greatest time. We play games, we read books And repeat a nursery rhyme. Tired of play we take a little nap, And wake to a great big surprise. For glowing candles on little cakes Shine so brightly in our eyes. Someone is having their birthday We start the familiar song to sing. No matter whose birthday it is Isn’t this the most exciting thing. © Copyright 2000 by Jean E. Gorney
