The first workable prototype of the internet, ARPANET, was developed by the US Dept of Defense. American tax payers funded this research. Now some want to let for profit companies make decisions on who gets what and how fast they get it on the www. They claim government regulation should end in the name of free market capitalism. Seems to me since we the people funded the R&D, we should maintain control in the form of regulation. The ISPs have engineered a take over of the internet by buying influence within the corrupt government (FCC) temporarily controlled by Fake President. This cannot stand. Now if the ISPs want to buy us out, they can make the American taxpayer an offer, each of us. I'm a go for $1 million per Americsn taxpayer.
