A day before school resumes, and me and Alex are finishing up our meals. We went to Amber's Buffet, which is a restaurant that is a block away from DIR (Department for Investigating of Richardson)
Since we were just coming back from work, and me and Alex were hungry, and this was the closest restaraunt. When we were done,
a girl the same height as me, came over and took our plates. She had an ombre in her hair. A bit of brown on the top and blonde on the rest. She wore a waitress outfit.

"I can take your plates, sir." The girl said gently taking our plates off of the table. 

"Thank you..." Alex said blushing a bit. 

"That's my job." The girl said giving Alex a thumbs up and walking away. 

I looked down and frowned. Did Alex blush because of her? I thought. 

  After School... 

   I'm waiting in front of the school for Alex to pick me up. Since he didn't go to this highschool, he had to walk all the way here to pick me up. 


    Now as Alex.. 


    I walked out of my school and was walking to Danika's school. She is my girlfriend, and I'm her boyfriend so I have to help her. When I was walking, I saw the girl me and Danika saw at the restaurant. She was running towards me excitedly. She came beside me. 

"Hey... You're the waitress from Amber's Buffet! What are you doing here?" I said. 

"I'm going to pick my little sister up. She goes to Oreon High."

My eyes got wide in shock. 

"I'm on my way there, too! I'm going to pick up my girlfriend, Danika." 

When I said girlfriend, the girl turned her look from eager to a normal-sadish face. 

"And My name is Alex by the way." I said holding my hand out for a handshake. 

The girl put her hand in mine and gave me the handshake. 

"And I'm Peyton." 

Peyton gave me a big hug and I saw that Danika was watching. And when she saw, from the distance I saw that she was walking away. 

Now as Danika...

A tear went down my eye as I ran past the cars to my house. I can't believe Alex would do this!
