Let there be...

A sound sounded in Genesis 
A magnificent splendor 
Acknowledging the Sovereign Creator 

Darkness excused itself into the night 
As He hummed "Let there be Light"
With no hesitation 
All creation took its position 
Behold the Earth, the Seas and all the galaxies 
And star ardoned skies 
To the Earth He says bring forth 
Grass, trees, graceful lilies
and tasteful berries 
And it was good 

The sound sounded yet again
"Let us make man..." 
And we understand that man He made by His hand 
The perfection of all His creation 

Till man's transgression left him in dire situation 
An offence for which the Son of Man was the propitiation 
Coz man fell in desperate need for redemption 
So God gave a sacrifice that was His own perfection for in Him was no violation 
Therefore He brought man's salvation 
Being the world's sole illumination creating the new creation 
Igniting in them a fire 
Jesus the Messiah Has set you and me on Fire
