There's something about his touch The sweet warmth, forbidden rush. Something in the way it makes me numb. That pleasant feeling, when my senses are overcome. The world drops away with grogginess, is this me, or you? Or us? Something about the way this pill taste, bitter to swallow, but sweet on the tongue. I lift my limbs, they're heavy. Burdened down...with thoughts of our love. There's something in the sound of this beep. As it steadies out, flat lining...mirroring the death of our love. A simple touch, a bitter pill, a sweet taste, with words that kill, and overdose of emotions...Brings pain. That time will never heal.
