Mothers do many things that are very sweet
Like picking up your clothes,
Wiping your runny nose,
And making sure shoes are on your feet.

At times our lives become complicated;
And moms are up to the challenge,
Managing to help keep us in balance,
As we finally realize she’s A rated.

Even when we’re out on our own,
Her arms reach out wide to us,
And without putting up any fuss,
And knowing we are only on loan.

After she has gone to her heavenly home,
Our memories of her will remain.
Forever we will act to continue her fame,
As lessons she has taught don’t leave us alone.
