Oh, thank you, thank you
For the gift so sweet.
A better friend than you
I’ve not a chance to meet.

You put so much of yourself
Into each and every surprise
I always look forward, so, to
What you place before my eyes.

I know that whatever I may find
Amid the pretty paper and the fluff
Is a gift you’ve chosen from the heart
And not just a bunch of stuff.
