Jesus saw all the people, a great multitude
And with compassion He healed their sick.
For dinner, the disciples thought it shrewd,
To send into the villages to get victuals quick.

But Jesus said, “Give ye them this to eat.”
All they had, five loaves and two fishes.
These were brought to Jesus soon to treat
Filling everyone up as to their wishes.

Jesus asked God’s blessing and right to the end
Everyone was full and yet there was still
Twelve baskets after feeding five thousand men
And the women and children were also full.
