I reach out to you 
But you slap my hands away 
There is no such thing 
As a happy in between 
With you and me
All you do is turn 
And walk the other way 
I don't even recognize you 
Your face is so full of hate 
And it hurts me to say this 
But how can such words 
Even come from your lips 
Like I don't even know 
Who you are or
What I did 
Yes I love a girl 
Yes I have two kids 
That I want to adopt 
And raise 
And teach them the right way
But I never will show them hate
But it's fine I guess
I'll pretend 
And say I'm okay 
Even though your words 
Cut like blades
But I have to remember 
That I have kids 
Who look up to me to learn 
And I won't let you hurt me 
And I won't let you hurt them 
Through me 
Just remember this 
The next time you try 
To break me down 
And curse my life
