I love her
How I really loved her
Yet I never realized how much
Till I lost her

I lost her
Yeah, at a very tender age
Still her memory lingers
Indeed I miss her

I miss her
Her presence gave me succour
Can't explain the peace I feel inside
Each time I watched her

Yes I did watch her
Treat my father with love & respect
In total submission
Think I'm growing to be like her

Yes, growing to be like her
Reflecting her strengths and virtues
Without subduing my own uniqueness
She's a mother like no other

I won't say anything.... as it is always easy to console, but hard to experience the situation
