Many many years ago
In a kingdom by the sea;
Lived a maiden that Poe had
Known by the name of
Annabelle Lee.
I dreamed a dream that is but
A dream of standing by the
Sea;
Along the shoreline close by
They were Calling me.
I was a fair maid who cared
Only to serve Annabelle Lee;
But angels in heaven said it
Was time to take her from him
And me.
Darkness and gloom had
Overcome the kingdom by the
Sea;
The beautiful and majestic
Smile vanished of the
Beautiful Annabelle Lee.
The roses were dying and
Turning black and tides were
Rising high;
The storm was thunderous
The wind was screaming
Only I knew why.
I remained alongside Master
Poe in the kingdom by the
Sea;
We shared so many stories oh
They were Beautiful indeed of
Sweet Annabelle Lee.
Edgar Allen Poe if you are
Looking down over me;
Embrace my spirit and show
Me the way of the master
Within me.
