There will be a day;
Where the shadows come
My way,
And the day turns to night;
And I'll lose my sight.
When I'm gone;
Just know all my pain
I held so long,
Is finally gone;
I am free it's done.
If you release any tears;
Hug my memories these
Years,
I will whisper in your ears;
I will heal your fears.
When I'm gone someday;
I know your heart shall decay,
Believe that I've found a way;
To walk along the bay.
When I'm gone and you're
Alone;
Wear my birthstone,
The sapphire of my home;
The heart of an ocean stone.
I'm not afraid to die mother;
I'm fighting life in sorrow,
Take care of one another;
The sun always rises
Tomorrow.

  • Wow. I must say that this poem is by far the most important and yet emotional poem I have ever read or seen. May I comment that why must u no longer feel when it is life we breathe so real and that pain and sorrow may bring you a better tomorrow?? Is that situation that lonesome and bad? I pray you find peace on this land before then and your life is worthy for a darn great reason. Very beautiful yet sad poem. ;)
