My whole life i been a dreamer 
My thoughts floating around as i go from play ground to play ground
No matter what town i am in i can never seem to play with the big boys

I want to play ball
I want a chance to hit it the distance
I want my proper recognitoon as a player
I want them to call my number
I want them to scream my name as i get that winning grand slam that is rembered for  the ages

I been sitting on the bench
With my cap on chewing yum yum bubble gum looking like the others sitting beside me but for somereason they look pass me 
everytime i believe its my time 
I never get up
Im tired of looking like a chump


I want to play ball
I want a chance to hit it the distance

No more in the cages 
No more bench
No more getting overlooked
In writing this next chapter of this book
Bat in hand no man will stsnd in my way as today is the day

Yes im fknally standing at the plate bat in hand standing tall as i hit that fucking ball out of sight blow their minds as i wll now feed their dinner plates at the victory party

They will call my number 
No longer last but number 1 because thats who i have been all along so who is with me
