A Journey Without God? Read Count : 131

Imagine, for a moment, that you loved God as He wants you to. You have asked Jesus to be the Savior of your life, and all that goes with that choice.

However, you told God you only wanted Him to meet you wherever you went. He couldn't ride in the car or take a walk with you.

You had a great time together, but the exclusion bothered God, and He finally confronted you about this. He said, "You are missing out on a big part of our relationship by not letting me join you on the journey wherever you go. It would be a lot better if I was allowed to be with you always, not just at the destinations you choose for yourself. I have a wonderful purpose for your life, perhaps many, and I have some places to show you that will delight you. But, you have put me in a "box" and compartmentalized our relationship by restricting what I can do with you."

Does this seem far-fetched? It really isn't because people do this every day to God. Not all people, of course, but many. God has wisdom we cannot comprehend, but if we limit His participation in our lives, what good is that?

Remember that God loves you so much that He sent Jesus to live among us as an example, then died on a cross for all of our sins so we could be close to God again. But it takes a sincere choice for that to happen. If you have not asked Jesus into your life, pray the following prayer sincerely from your heart, read the Bible, and talk to God in your thoughts and prayer. Watch what happens then!
Also remember this, God is way too big and marvelous to fit in any box. Think about this, and make your choice before you die. There are no more choices available after death, no matter what anyone tells you. Hebrews 9:27 says, "It is given ubto man once to die, and then the judgment." Please don't wait too long!

Father, I ask you to come into my life and make the changes you alone can do. I admit that I am a sinner, in need of your forgiveness. Come in and live with me always, and don't let me cut you out of any part of my existence. Thank you, in Jesus' name' amen.
