Ch6-Little Runaway

After the Wake Damien started to feel bad for what he had said to Cassie and requested to speak with Isaac and Kato "I don't think they want to see you right now I would get out of here Damien" Alistair said.

"Ok fair enough" he said leaving through one of the portals Leo stood by Alistairs side "Your hurting what's wrong?" Alistair asked looking at Leo who looked back at him.

"Cassie wont be able to survive long on her own not with all these hunters out there will she?" Leo asked.

"No but the Royal guard and the other supernaturals will stop at nothing to find her" Alistair said.

"Relax Leo Adrian thinks he knows where Cassie's heading" Enzo said.

"The Royal guard is to escort us to the shadow Realm" Isaac said

"The Shadow Realm wait isn't it dangerous to go there?" Meredith asked her father "Only to humans that's why Arcadia is the safest place for you Faidon and Morgan will stay here and protect you with Eve, Eric and Tristan" Brooklyn said.

"Cassie's are friend let us come with you?" Grace asked.

"No that's an order as much as I hate humans at this point in time I know she wouldn't forgive me if something happened to her friends" Isaac said.

The Royal guard disappeared with Kato and Isaac to the Shadow Realm where they saw Cassie about to open the gate to cross over Kato managed to sneak up on her and grabbed her while Brooklyn destroyed the gate.

Cassie had now spiralled out of control and was a mix of emotions anger and sadness she went to scratch Kato but Isaac had grabbed her wrists and spoke "Brooklyn do it now" Isaac said Brooklyn snapped his fingers and chains appeared around Cassie's wrists.

Cassie tried to break them but she felt a burning sensation in her wrists whenever she tried "Let's go home" Isaac said as he disappeared with Cassie back at Brooklyn's safe house Adrian spoke "Isaac please she was just upset you don't need to keep her locked up" Adrian said.

"The fact that she lost two people she cared about has damaged her and after finding her in the shadow realm it seems she wanted to kill herself and I will not let that happen to my daughter" Isaac said.

Cassie lay on her bed in these chains "Drink this" Brooklyn said as he held a cup to her lips she drank from it.

"Brooklyn please take these chains off" Cassie asked looking at him Brooklyn took the chains off then spoke "Cassie please for Isaac and Kato's sake stay here you can get through this grief let me take it away" he said.

Cassie just nodded Brooklyn placed his hands on her face and uttered a incantation with Kato and Isaac in their room they had no clue what they were going to do about Cassie.

"We could both use the fresh air let's go for a walk Brooklyn can take care of things here" Isaac said as Kato took his hand in his and they walked from the room telling Romeo and Enzo where they were going.

While they enjoyed a romantic walk through one of the parks black smoke spread around them and both Kato and Isaac couldn't see a thing all they felt was something grab them.
