Ch5-The Wake

Cassie got dressed for the wake she wore a long black dress Isaac and Kato had agreed that the wake will be at Arcadia since Brooklyn had managed to fix the damage that had been done.

Miss James appeared by Cassie's side "I'm sorry for everyone you have lost including your real mother Kato told me how she was killed by werewolves" she said going to wrap her arms around her in an attempt to comfort her.

"Don't touch me I can't control this new life Andre has given me it's best to stay clear for now" Cassie said Miss James nodded it was that moment Ronnie came in and walked over to Cassie.

"When did she start walking?" Cassie asked.

"It happend when you lot where in Vegas" Miss James said watching Cassie closely who took a step back from Ronnie.

Ronnie stopped when she noticed Cassie's eyes miss James screamed as Cassie had moved closer to Ronnie before she could hurt her Cassie fell to the ground and was in pain Brooklyn walked in it was his magic.

"Brooklyn stop this now let me deal with my daughter" Isaac asked Brooklyn nodded.

"As you wish my king" he said and released Cassie from his hold.

"What's happening to me?" Cassie asked tears falling from her eyes Kato went over and hugged her she hugged him back.

"Cassie it will be ok were all here to help you" Kato said which made her cheer up slightly. 

"I'm sorry Daryl I want you to have this if I ever try to hurt miss James or her kids put me down with this" Cassie explained.

Daryl looked at Cassie then shook his head "I'm not doing that your like a little sister to me I can't kill you" he replied.

"You have to I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hurt miss James or any of the kids" Cassie said Daryl took the weapon and spoke "I'll take it but I'm not going to kill you" he said leaving the room.

"We should get going to Arcadia" Isaac said taking Kato's hand who seemed sad.

"Kato what's wrong?" Isaac asked

"I just keep thinking Adrian could have died saving me I'm his sire but I love him he's my brother I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened to him" Kato said Isaac hugged him.

"Kato I'm not going anywere I'll be here for you  always" Adrian said Kato hugged Adrian who hugged him back.

"We best be getting to Arcadia before the guests arrive we have a lot to do still" Adrian said.

The supernaturals, Cassie and the humans went through the portal to Arcadia Eve greeted Eric and Tristan who had already started to make preparations.

Cassie noticed the long list of supernaturals that had been lost in the war and in other circumstances.

Katie stood beside Cassie looking into one of the caskets it was Raphael Damien had to feel for the girl even though he was hurting to he pushed that aside to be their for Katie.

Isabella,Faith,Dallas were in caskets near Raphael's Cassie placed a kiss to their foreheads.

"May we meet again soon" she whispered. 

Once everything was set for the wake some of our guests started to arrive Daryl kept a close eye on some supernaturals and kept miss James and her kids close by his side.

A man appeared and bowed to Isaac and Kato then spoke "I'm Alistair I was a part of the Royal guard when Emanuel was with us so now I pledge my services to you both" he said.

Cassie noticed the human stood behind Alistair he looked scared stiff of everything going on around him she went to stand by his side.

"You don't have to be scared no one's going to hurt you" Cassie said the lad looked at her and smiled Alistair however stepped infront of the younger male protecting him.

"What the hell are you?" he asked Isaac was now in the middle of Alistair and Cassie.

"Alistair this is my daughter Cassandra Blake she's a Hybrid and she will not hurt him" Isaac said.

Alistair backed down and went to get a drink with Isaac and Kato to catch up on a few things.

"My names Leo by the way" the teenage lad said stuttering a little.

"Nice too meet you care for something to eat or drink?" Cassie asked while they walked around the courtyard.

"I'm good thanks so your a Hybrid Alistair has told me it's not possible to be both vampire and Werewolf" Leo said.

"Unfortunately it only happens on rare occasions Brooklyn has only met one other Hybrid but he eventually went mad and then died" Cassie said. 

"So who's the human you brought with you? " Isaac asked watching Cassie with the human guy in question.

"His name is Leo I found him wandering around the streets a few months ago and took him in and later I became attached to him" Alistair said.


The wake had begun Isaac was first to speak "Friends family i'm so glad you could all be here so we can say a huge goodbye to many of those who died in the war with the Circle or in other circumstances" Isaac said.

"On the screen behind me photos of everyone who we have lost in the war all 35 will be shown i'm sorry for your loss" Isaac said as he fell silent as the photo's began to appear on the screen by him starting with four supernatural children who had died in the war.

A few people had broken down a woman from the audience was devastated as her son was one of the deceased.

As the list got longer and longer last to be shown was Emanuel Isaac's uncle "Now would anyone want to say a few words?" Isaac asked looking out at the audience.

Cassie got up and walked up to the stand "A few months ago I lost two people who had started to become sisters to me Isabella and Faith who were murdered by the late Salem and Lucifer, and in the war against the Circle if it hadn't been for Dallas I wouldn't be stood here today then we have Blade who has always been there for everyone I even remember when I was four no matter how many times I pestered him he would spend hours with me making me laugh" Cassie said getting a bit choked up now.

"Then we have Noah who I feel responsible for you see Lucifer gave my father a choice to give up the location of myself or Prince Kato and I wished he had given up mine but because he didn't Noah paid the price" Cassie explained.

"Noah's death was not your fault Cassie" Damien said Cassie looked at him then he spoke those words "Raphael's death however was on you because everyone around that table would have died for you, why did you have to steal the one good thing that had happened to me?" Damien asked.

"Damien Cassie wasn't responsible for what happened to Raphael" Amy said

"No he's right and if you just let me finish my speech you will never have to see me again Damien" Cassie said.

"Lucifer was the bad guy for most of his life but he was at one point my sire then boyfriend he did change his ways in the end i'm not trying to make excuses for the things he did but now that he's dead I see no reason to speak ill of him and then Raphael well he was an ex boyfriend of mine to but now we remember all of those we have lost and I say goodnight and may we be reunited in the other land" Cassie said finishing her speech then walking past her seat and towards the gates of Arcadia.

"Cassandra your not leaving here" Isaac said Cassie looked at her father then spoke breaking down into tears "I'm sorry daddy" then she vanished out of sight Kato could not believe it and was at Isaacs side.
