Ch4-Carry on my wayward son


After the commotion Henry had caused Isaac had ordered Cassie to go rest after she nearly fainted.

Cassie lay down on her bed and closed her eyes seeing images of Lucifer and Raphael's dead bodies.

Cassie shot up in bed to see Brooklyn,Faidon and Morgan watching over her.

"Sweetie what's wrong?" Brooklyn asked.

Cassie was about to answer then she heard his voice again his laughter pierced like a dagger threw my heart.

"Brooklyn theirs something I have been keeping from Isaac and Kato" Cassie said.

"What is it kid you can tell us?" Faidon explained. 

"I think Castillo is trying to come back from the otherside I keep hearing him laughing and some times tormenting me" Cassie explained.

Brooklyn placed his hands on her face and spoke "Cassie my dear he's not going to hurt you if he does come back" Brooklyn said.

Faidon was frozen to the spot "Faidon are you ok? " Morgan asked.

"Yeah I'm ok" he said Brooklyn had gone to wake up Kato and Isaac "Tell them what you told us?" Brooklyn  said.

Cassie looked at Isaac and Kato and spoke "Castillo is tying to come back from the otherside I can hear him laughing and talking" Cassie said.

Kato looked horrified he had suffered the most at Castillos hands then Cassie.

"Babe he's not going to come back and besides let him try your a Royal now he will have to get through thousands of supernaturals" Isaac explained.

Cassie's eyes had changed colour as she looked in the mirror.

"What the your not human anymore" Isaac said as he gently placed a hand up to tilt my neck to see no signs of bites.

"Andre must have injected her with some substance" Brooklyn explained Faidon placed a hand on Cassie's left side where he found a mark where Cassie had been injected.

"Vampire and Werewolf blood so that makes Cassie a Hybrid" he explained.

"What time is Daryl and miss James going to be back with the kids?" Enzo asked.

"Not until tomorrow morning they are staying at our old place so we have a bit of time to decide what we are going to say" Kato said.

Cassie took a walk into the kids room Brooklyn had decorated and saw various drawings from Katie that broke her heart she adored both Lucifer and Raphael she had drawn them as stick people.

"Katie adored Raphael and Lucifer what are we going to say?" Cassie asked.

"We will just have to tell them the truth" Romeo said as he placed an arm around Cassie.

"We all need to rest before tomorrow morning when we will prepare to say goodbye to all the fallen at Arcadius" Isaac said everyone nodded.

Adrian was about to retire to his room when Cassie stopped him "Thank You for sacrificing yourself for Kato like that" she said.

Adrian smiled at her then spoke " He's my sire I've never told any one apart from Isaac that before " Adrian said.

"I should get some sleep will you stay with me" Cassie asked Adrian nodded Cassie fell asleep in his arms.

When morning came Daryl and Miss James had gotten back with the kids they greeted everyone with hugs.

"Raphael where is he?" Katie asked no one could speak Cassie bent down to speak with Katie.

"A nasty man took Raphael away from us" Cassie said Katie looked sad "He's dead no he can't be" she said crying. 

Miss James took the kids into the other room and tried to calm them down with Brooklyns help.

Isaac and Kato filled Daryl in on what happend and about my Hybrid situation and the fact Castillo might still be alive.
