I've been watching you from afar
Been longing to hold your hands
Been waiting for that one day 
To make you mine and be with me for a while.

I kept on wishing you'll see me
Hoping that one day you'll take a glance
Even just for a while
Been asking if you can take my hands and hold it with you.

I cried all night, almost gave up
I've been a mess, nobody knows it
Just fell asleep and had a beautiful dream
You and I, only the two of us.

But just like any other dream
I know that once I wake up
The scene of you and me, just like a snap
Will bring me back to reality.

A reality that not even once
Not just a single chance
Nothing even for a while
Will make you mine, even just for a while.
