It was August 6, 1945. in Hiroshima, japan we were all sitting around the TV waiting on the edge of our seats to hear they had launched the bomb.  We had worried and hopped they would not have sent it over. You would think our first reaction would be to panic and seek shelter, or even to cry but when we heard the words "Harry S. Truman has officially sent over a highly dangerous atomic bomb" We just sat there in silence in the fear that we would die. Of course we saw this coming but not as soon as we thought. I remember thinking to myself "god let me die before they come"
