Bryce and Chasity quickly seemed to get ready for their morning classes when there is a knock at Bryce's door. He glances over at Chasity making sure she is completely dress then...

"Hey Bryce! Its me mate!" an Australian accent was immediately familiar to the dark haired man. Felix his best friend since he moved here from Colorado was like the polar opposite of him. A bit shorter, blonde curly hair, intense green eyes and not to mention he was Australian. 

Opening the door just a crack he looks at the bright and bubbly friend and says, "Hey what's up man?" 

Furrowing his eyebrows Felix chuckled and said, "What? You have a woman in there?"

"... Maybe, maybe not." 

Shaking his head he said, "Whatever mate the point is there is a cop waiting outside for you... I don't know something about punching the politician Mr. Amber?" 

Bryce's eyes widened and he said, "Wait what?" 

Immediately Chasity stepped in surprising the blonde, "What!?! No! He was protecting me!" 

Bryce sighed, "Its alright I was protecting you. I can't get in too much trouble. My brother in law is a cop." 

She looked at him surprised, "What? Really?" 

He nods, "Best thing to do is to not resist. That is what he always tells me." 

Nodding she says, "Ok... I will take your side no matter what?" 

"Wait a minute!" Felix interrupts, "You mean she is-" 

He nods and gives him a wink before patting his back and playfully saying, "Make sure to get my bail money Felix!" he jogged downstairs and seeing a familiar face, one of his brother in laws fellow cop he says, "Hey there Frank." 

He sighs, "Bryce. Please tell me this is all a big misunderstanding?" 

Rubbing the back of his neck he says, "Depends on what that shithead politician said about me. Am I going to get my first arrest ever?" 

"We just need to ask you a few questions about the events leading up to the assault of Edward Amber. Will you get into the car please?" 

Holding his hands up he said, "Sure. I will go along with this. But letting you know I was protecting." he says before getting into the car Frank drives off. 

Chasity rushes out grabbing her car keys and she said, "I cannot believe my dad did this!" she rants to Felix. 

"Uh, ok I am totally lost. What happened-" his eyes widened at the sliced tires of her beautiful mustang and he said, "Shit man!"

Anger boiled inside her and she said, "Are you fucking serious!?!" 

Felix pats her back and replies, "Its ok, Bryce can fix it when he gets out. Meanwhile I will take you." 

"Thank you Felix."

In the police station his redheaded brother in law crossed his arms disapprovingly and says, "Really Bry?" 

Bryce smiled innocently, "Hey, what's up Bailey?" 

Shaking his head Bailey gestures towards a room then said, "Come in. You and I are gonna talk."

The moment they entered the barren room Bryce glances around at the place and he said, "Shit. Never thought I would be in this situation." he sits down. 

"Well when you punch a wealthy politician of course it is going to capture a few eyes." 

Bryce sighs, "Look it wasn't like that Bailey... I mean, it kinda was but-"

"Just tell me what happened." 

"The other day, Chasity and I decided to ditch school, more her idea then mine but I went along with it anyways to make sure she wouldn't hurt herself. It turned out Mr. Amber was having an affair with one of our classmates Britney Hutson. That really pissed off Chas. In the end her father found out she skipped and I guess he has a tight leash. Before I knew it Chasity took the blame and Amara Amber invited me to dinner where Chasity couldn't help but lash out at the bastard. She finally wanted to escape, I allowed her to come with me and that didn't suite well for her dad. He hit her Bailey. He fucking hit her. What was I suppose to do? Besides Autumn you know exactly the shit I have been through... What me and Autumn went through. I wasn't gonna stand by and let him hit her!" he takes a deep breath, "After that entire fucking ordeal she is staying in my dorm, without anyone's knowledge." 

Bailey processes all this information and leaning back he says, "So you are saying he abuses Chasity?"

"I mean I can't say that, I wouldn't know. I am just telling you what happened in that moment. Whatever bullshit he fed you is all that is. Fucking bullshit. He is a politician after all." 

An hour or so goes by as Bailey goes through with Bryce on what happened and in the end Bryce was out of the interrogation room, rubbing the back of his neck before Chasity leaps into his arms. Instantly he felt all of her affections and returns her hug. 

Before long she looks at Bailey and says, "Listen officer. You can't arrest him he was protecting me and-"

Bailey smiled, "It is ok Chasity. I am his brother in law I believe him more than some politician... No offense."

"Non taken." Chas said. 

Bryce looking at Felix asks, "Why are you here?" 

"I drove her here her tires were completely slashed." 

That immediately grabbed Bryce and Bailey's attention, "Wait what?" they ask in unison.
