A wreath is hanging upon my door, 
All decorated with glitter and bows.
It can be seen from out to the street
A welcome to my guests it shows.

The tree is decorated and ready 
for this wonderful special night
And the yard is dressed and strung 
with all kinds of Christmas light.

The stockings each one is hung on
the mantle on the fireplace
Everything is ready with no
time now that we can waste.

Inside a fire is glowing within the
stove filled up with apple wood.
I’ve given my thanks for His gifts, 
and God said, “It is good.”
