#352 MOM & CHRISTMAS Read Count : 120

Mom made Christmas so bright,
She could cheer up the dogs
as they say on a “three-dog-night.”
Like the brightness of yule time logs.

She could make a child smile,
Even one she didn’t know
With gifts that were given through
Others without any show.

She would shop all year for adding up
presents for those she knew naught.
When Christmas time came, they were
wrapped and she then sought ---

The lonely, the tired and everyone near.
For this she is remembered and well
to her family and friends most dear.
She would give things rather than sell.

We all love and miss you Mom.
To understand the ending you need to know made a lot of things to sell and used a lot of this money for her Christmas spending.
