Your arms are like curtains
A shield in the dark
There's not much of which I am certain
Except how it all came to start

A spell that can't be undone
A spectre not haunting anymore
I tried to run
But I'm always left wanting more

Hazy daydreams
Hallucinating
Old film is fading
Silent screaming
Intimidating
Old film delaying

We sing to a broken radio
And dance with broken legs
Hitchhiking a forgotten road
With only that song playing in my head

Final entry with no date
Can't recall the year
If the answer comes too late
Is it still worth it to hear
?

Won't try to stand by you
As your body becomes old
Won't try to remind you
Why it is you got so cold

Your arms are like curtains
Turning everything so dark
There's not much of which I am certain
Except how it all came apart
