#348 THAT PERFECT GIFT Read Count : 89

Here I am in a hustle while down at the mall
Getting the perfect gift before I make my call.

As you open the door, the gift that’s in my hand
Just has to be one that I think is so very grand.

The same old things would never, ever do,
For you are my very best friend and true.

I want you to have something special then
And something for which you have a yen.

Wrapped this present with paper just right.
Topped with ribbons, it’s a beautiful sight.

I find it’s not the present you so eagerly seek,
But the presence of a friend, the gift that’s unique.
