It was a cold, heartless night. The moon hid it's face behind the thick, groggy clouds. No light filtered through the small gaps in the sky. Leaving small wildlife like deer and rabbits hidden from the moon's beauty. The birds ruffled down into their nests and fox pups whined and fought for mother's comfort. The only sounds were the sound of heavy footsteps. A man trudged through the over grown underbrush of the forest. Though the man was abnormally tall, his face was hidden in the dark, swallowing night. His breaths were harsh and loud. Sounding as if he ran miles. The figure hurries the pace even more then he had before. As he did, a few animals scatter from the sudden outburst. His breathing tries catching up with his pounding heart. His satchel swings back and fourth and side to side. His boots crunch at the dead leaves and jump at the small tree logs that lay in path. Suddenly. Oh so quick, the man stops. A smile curves up on his face the slightest bit. He hides behind a tree and peaks out. His eyes gleam softly from behind the moss eaten tree. He never planned to see anything so beautiful. Only dreamt of this. There before him, he saw aa beautifuly built creature. Her limbs long and refined. Specks of white flowered over her light tan torso. He watched the creature prance gracefully to a little inground spring. The water glistened though no light. The man slides from behind the tree and sits on the ground. The lady hears the man sit and her ears perk up in alarm. She turns to flee but spots the man sitting nicely on an algae covered log. He showed no means of hurting her. Even if he blocked her only means of escape. Lady approached the figure cautiously. She too, took up a sweet, warm demeanor. The man quickly draws back his hand when she went to put her delicate head in his palms. He makes a sad expression. "No, no I can't... I'll hurt you in a way you wouldn't ever imagine." "You wouldn't understand". He said in a barely audible whisper. Lady's ears fold down but perk up at the rising sun. It peaked up just abit over the tree tops. Shining the leaves in it's warmth, orangey color it had every morning. She takes a look at the man. She could see he had long, stringy blackish brown hair that crept down his back and bangs who covered his face except where his "snout" came up to his nose. And you could see his icey blue eyes. Piercing into her warm, brown ones like sharp glass. She licks his face and then prances off reclucently. The man sighs quietly. His breath came like steam that poured from his thin lips. "Pretty.." he said to himself. Picturing her in his head. "Pretty lady.. yes, that's what I shall call her~". He says with a wide smile. He walks off to continue his true reason he was here. As the sun climbed it's way up, the man walked. Without stopping. Without nourishment. He eventually finds his way to a small victorian town. He looks at the town from afar. Staring at it skeptically. He pulls out a nicely folded letter/envelope from his rough satchel. He reads the address and nods to himself. Wondering if he should persue the invite or stay in the forest with his Lady. He probbally wouldn't see her again if he didnt. He sighs long winded. He folds up the note once again and stuffs it inn his pocket. "We're here..." he says to himself.
