Yep. I'm living in an ordinary life. In an ordinary family and an ordinary neighborhood. 
I'm from Kuala Lumpur but moved to Sabah a week before. Why? Well, it's because my family decided to stay with my grandmother and grandfather. Don't ask me why though,I don't even know the reason.

Oh ya, I haven't introduce myself haven't I? I'm just a boy named Darry Sim, a ninth grade student. I don't believe in any spiritualism stuff,that doesn't exist. But my grandma and grandpa always asked me to wear a pendant that ward off evil spirit. I however decide to take it since I don't want to be rude.

Anyway,after a week packed up all the boxes in the house, I finally get to go to school. From now on, I'm going to study hard and become a popular student in the school!

[In school]
"I presume you are Darry Sim?"The headmistress of the school asked. "Yes,I am."I answered confidently,not to mess for my first day. "Ah,I see.Your entrance exam are indeed impressive..."She continued,"...But we have to put you in the third class."

My heart broke into pieces as if it was stroke by an arrow. "You see...Your previous school and this school are a bit different. Each classes have a limit of students and different class system.We wanted to put you into the second class but you choose a subject that is about accounting. While the second class is about agriculture. So the third class is suitable for you."The headmistress explained.
You got to be kidding me..After all I had been through and this is what I get for my hard work? So much for being a popular student! "I apologize for that."The headmistress apologized.

Then, the two of us heard a knock on the door. "Enter."The headmistress said. The door opened and a teacher step inside the headmistress' office. "Oh,you must be the new student. Darry Sim?"The teacher asked and I just reply her with a nod. "Darry. This will be your class teacher and your Science teacher. Teacher Clare."The headmistresses said.

"If you don't mind, I would like to escort him to his class since my next class period is about to start."Teacher Clare said. "Go ahead. By the way, Darry. I wish you all the best."That is the words the headmistress said before I step out from her office.

Well, I hope things will get well in class...
"Where're you from,Darry?"Teacher Clare asked. "Kuala Lumpur."I answered. "Why did you move to here?" "I don't know the reason but my parents said they want to live with my grandparents." "Oh,I see..How about your neighborhood?" "It is a peaceful neighborhood. They came and helped all of us to move our things from the truck." "I'm glad. It's sad I have to end our conversation here."Then she stopped in front of me and said,"This will going to be your class."

As we entered the class,"Stand up! Good morning teacher!"I believe it was the class monitor who shouted. I saw everyone stood up and greet their teacher. "Good morning class, you may now sit."Everyone then took their seats. "Alright students! We have a transfer student here. Darry,do you have anything to say?"

I took a deep breath and let it out,"I'm Darry Sim. I'm from Kuala Lumpur but decide to move here to live with my grandparents. I hope all of us can be friends." "Alright. I hope all of you get along with Darry. Your seat is between Abigail and Rachel. Abigail, Rachel, please stand up."Teacher Clare said and I saw two girls wearing spectacles stood up. Then I went over there and took the seats. 
"Our class will now begin."As Teacher Clare said that,the students took out their Science textbook. I don't have my Science textbook...Since I'm just transferred. "Hey."The girl on the left whispered to me,"I'm Abigail Eve. The one on your right is Rachel Ann." "Hello."Rachel whispered. "Hi.."I greeted them. "You don't have your Science textbook,right?"Rachel asked. "Yea." "Why don't you share with me for now?" "I see..Thank you."I thanked her. Well, that's a new start for me to make friends.

I focus on the whiteboard and took notes of it so I can study it at home. Same goes for Math class, I need to remember the formula so that it will be easy on solving the question. As time flies by, it was already recess. Then I saw some boys went over to my seats,"Hello, Darry. I'm Alexander and this is Chaw Tze Yang. But you can call me Alex and you can call him Chaw." "Hello, Alex and Chaw. It's very nice to meet you."I shook their hands. "It's nice to meet you too."Chaw said.

"If you don't mind, can I ask you some question? Sorry, it's rare to see a transfer student transferred into this school."Chaw asked. "I don't mind at all."I reply. "Good. Then what is your hobby?"Chaw asked. "Playing basketball." "Any subject you're good at?"Alex asked. "Math. I think." "Really?! Can you teach me math next time?"Alex said. "Sure. Why not?"

"Aren't you three going for recess?"Another boy asked that was sitting behind me. "It's none of your business,Arnold. Beside,this is our first transfer student. This is an opportunity to get to know him."Alex answered. "Hey Darry."The girl next to Arnold called,"Sorry about those two. They're really excited whenever there's a transfer student." "It's fine." "I'm Shereena Koh. But you can call me Shereena." "Nice to meet you."I shook her hand.

"Is there a person named Darry Sim here?"A teacher suddenly appear at the door. "That's me."I stood up. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"She asked and I walked outside the classroom.

"I'm sorry to hear this, Darry. Your mother just called and she said your grandfather had passed away."
