Dear God, come into my heart, fill it with peace.
Let me soar like an eagle, a bird of grace.
Fill me with Your mighty strength and lead me on.
Let Your light shine brightly upon my face.

Smile upon me with Your loving forgiveness,
For I know that You, God, will always be there;
And let me not stray from loving and meekness
Through the warmth of your special loving care.

Standing at the door for my name to be called,
Above the clouds my time will come that I arose.
For I truly believe that for my sins You came,
As angels carry me on to my heavenly repose.
