Chapter Two: A Rude Awakening

I woke up, and was inside of a small room that had a big metal door in front of me, and a sink, and mirror on the left. It was kind of dark, but there was a little bit of light showing through the window on the door. I tried to stand up, but there was a splitting pain in my head. Almost like a head rush pain, but different. It felt more like my brains were getting ripped out of several spots, one lobe at a time.... The pain became too unbearable, and I fell back down, hitting my head on the wall. the pain eventually went away, and when it did, I attempted to stand again. This time I was successful. This time the pain started out small, and then grew more painful the longer I stood. I slowly made my way to the door across the room, and peeked out of the window in the door. I saw a man hunched over my sister. I began to cry softly. I walked to the other side of the room to the sink to wash off my face, to help soothe the pain, and to help me calm down a little so I could think more clearly. As I got closer to the mirror, I noticed something off about myself. As I got closer, I noticed a piece of medical cloth, and tape covering my right eye. I slowly made my way to the door, and banged on it to try and get my sister's attention. Unluckily for me, though, she wasn't the one who noticed. He turned around, and I saw my father's face staring back at me. I will never forget the crazed, maniacal grin on his face, as I looked at him in terror. I slid down the wall to the floor and cried into my knees. I couldn't believe that my father had slipped into insanity. I even prayed to a god that I didn't believe in. I did anything I could to try and make the situation better. But nothing seemed to work...
