Chapter One: The Beginning

I woke up strapped down to a surgery table, with two small thin metal pieces holding my right eye open. I looked over to the left of me and saw my little sister set up the same way, but instead of her right eye it was her left. She was knocked out cold. My eyes began to well up with tears as I heard a door open and then slowly creak closed. A man came up to my table and took out a syringe. I could hardly tell who it was, since my vision was still blurred. He gave me a few shots in my cornua, and a couple behind the eye. I let out a light scream. He covered my mouth with tape, then he went over to my sister's table, and he did the same to her. I shook my head as much as I could, but I couldn't move my head or body freely, as they were all strapped down to the table. I did, however, manage to get my head loose from the straps, and the device. I licked the tape, and it eventually fell off. I yelled at the top of my lungs, and it made him jump. He quickly turned around, and he hit me in my head very hard with his hands clasped together to make a fist. My vision started to become blurry, and just before I passed out, I looked over to my sister to see her crying, and whimpering in fear. Her screams slowly began haunting my thoughts as I drifted off to sleep.
