I couldn't think. The cold was finally setting itself into my bones. Northern winds nestled inside of my hoodie. I had to keep walking; I couldn't stay out here, especially not like this. My heart was silent. The more I tried to listen, the harder it beat. I sped up so the gentlemen riding his bike could go around me. Who rides a bike in the snow? And why is there snow? Focusing so hard on keeping warm, I forgot the reason why it was cold. I don't remember it snowing; the trees were green when I left the house. I don't remember why I left. All I know is that it's now snowing, and I have to keep warm. Why am I here? Where am I going? There's no one else in sight. I had to speed up my pace. A man rode past me on his bicycle. I kept my eyes forward, only because they wouldn't move. They demanded that they only look forward. Where am I going? Still no sound.
