I may have just met you yesterday
We haven’t had time yet to play
We haven’t any special event
We don’t know our warmth and scent

The years haven’t come, nor gone
We don’t have experience to count on
We haven’t laid out our hearts
Our life together has no other parts

But when I saw that smile so wide
I knew I’d soon be inside
And not wondering from afar
If soon in my life you will star
