Keeping secrets is not hard for a friend
She will not divulge them to the end

Whispering we did when we were a child
Has come a longer way than a mile

For the secrets we now share
Innermost thoughts are now there

Thoughts and feelings not kept inside
Being a close friend could never hide

You sense my pallor and fret
But a smile out of me you still can get
