#647 AS THE CARDINAL SINGS Read Count : 144

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
Red birds sprinkling the winter snow
Flirting with flowers, bright ones that glow
Setting up nests with their expertise
Only a bird can do this with such ease
A Cardinal sings his special song
I feel like I want to whistle along
Sometimes at the top of an evergreen
A Cardinal singing is out to be seen
A semblance of showing off their best
Like our red hat friends of which we are blessed
