The anxiety inside wants to know, if I'd like to take a ride? When I say no it's not a lie, but the anxiety inside will still take me on the ride. You might not see that it's haunting me, so if I ask you to let me be just know, I need you to hold me. I don't know how to ask, because the anxiety it’s like a mask it's filled with fear so keep me near. I struggled today and you won’t understand why, but every little thing makes me want to cry. So when you see that I'm sad, moody or blue just know that it's not you. The anxiety inside wants to know if I'd like to take a ride and when I say no the anxiety inside will still take me on the ride. Many things big or small may set me off with no reason at all. Please remember I'm just afraid to fall. My days are longer and my nights are shorter for the anxiety inside me is my biggest defeater. I want to be strong and I want to be brave but being in my head feels like being lost in a cave.
