The dark earth steeps with steam
	as the cool evening air meets 
	with the warmth of the day

Another night is upon us 
	with daytime noises settling
	into a sleepy forest, drifting away

Then slowly, slowly awakens life -- 
	those things that sleep off 
	the glairiness of the sun

Day, night, two separate entities
	equaling one that ended
	a distance past where it had begun
