#505 NOT MY GREATNESS Read Count : 116

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A
A Sepulcher won't my grave be
As ashes they will spread
I don't need a beautiful spot
in which to lay my head

My body will be useless
But that won't bother me
For God has not been provident
In providing for my need

Although I may try to emulate
I know that's not in me
For only one God has made us all
And my marks will not indelibly be

I have no melancholy wistfulness
For onto greater things I'll go
and life with God in Heaven
Will be much better than here, I know.
