Courage is needed just to get through life
With all its worries, denials and strife.
Courage hold us up and keeps us strong
Trials pass over and don’t seem so long

Some things take lots and lots of courage,
Even some things we surely must do.
We don’t have to slew a lion or dragon
To know the courage we have is true.

When life hands us these challenges
And we put up our very best fight,
We’re the ones on that white horse,
Shining like the brightest of light.
